Bob Hanss

In his thirty-year career, Bob Hanss has been commissioned by distinguished designers to construct some of the finest gardens in Eastern Massachusetts. Many of these projects have been recognized as award-winning landscapes by both the American and Boston Societies of Landscape Architects.

Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University and is a registered landscape architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Martin Lucyk

Martin Lucyk received a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto. As a designer and project manager with EDAW, Oehme Van Sweden & Associates, and Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Martin has over 17 years of landscape construction experience.

As a project manager with Robert Hanss, Inc. Martin truly enjoys the collaborative effort of the designer, the client, and the skilled craftsman to create great gardens and landscapes.

Kathy Small

Katherine Small is a professional horticulturalist who has over 15 years experience in nursery services and landscape maintenance, including managing accounts for high-end residential clients at colleges, hospitals, and offices. She has trained and supervised staff, participated in seminars on gardening, and managed large-scale plant inventories.

Kathy works closely with clients and designers to ensure the vision and health of their built landscape is realized long after construction is completed. Under Kathy's supervision, we provide management for comprehensive property maintenance including tree and shrub spraying and fertilizing, lawn care, irrigation, and leaf removal.

Mike Coffin

Mike Coffin is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture. He has been working in the landscape maintenance and construction fields for over eight years.

As a project manager with Robert Hanss, Inc. Mike helps to incorporate contemporary technology with the fundamentals essential to every successful built project. He enjoys combining the smallest details with the overall goals of each project to see the designer’s vision become reality.
